L.S. Lowry's original artwork titled The Lodging House refers to both a 1921 chalk drawing on paper,
part of the permanent collection at The Lowry art gallery in Salford, and a 1928 pencil drawing which has been sold at auction.
There is also a similar oil painting on the same subject.
